This retreat is designed for married couples who want to strengthen their relationship, whether you're feeling disconnected and struggling to communicate or get the spark back or simply want to invest in an already healthy marriage. You'll receive practical coaching, personalized guidance, and intentional time together to deepen your friendship, intimacy, and connection.

Most marriage retreats focus on teaching from a stage. While you'll absolutely receive practical, biblically grounded teaching, this retreat goes far beyond listening to great content.

We've intentionally created a boutique experience with a limited number of couples so you'll have direct access to both of us throughout the week. You'll receive personalized coaching tailored to your unique relationship, guided conversations that help you apply what you're learning immediately, and plenty of unhurried time to reconnect without the demands of everyday life pulling you away.

We also believe that where you heal matters. That's why we chose the island where we celebrated our own 20th wedding anniversary, a peaceful, beautiful setting that naturally invites you to slow down, be present with one another, and remember why you chose each other in the first place.

Our goal isn't simply to give you more marriage information. It's to help you leave with a renewed friendship, deeper intimacy, practical tools you'll continue using at home, and memories that mark the beginning of a new chapter in your marriage.

No. While healing often happens during the retreat, this isn't traditional counseling. You'll receive practical teaching, personalized coaching from both of us, guided conversations, and dedicated time to apply what you're learning together in a relaxed, beautiful environment.

Yes. In addition to the group teaching sessions, every couple will receive dedicated private coaching with Adam and Cara to help you work through your unique relationship dynamics and leave with a personalized plan for moving forward.

Plenty. We've intentionally designed the retreat to balance meaningful coaching with space to enjoy the island, go on excursions, relax together, explore, or simply reconnect without distractions. We believe some of the most meaningful moments happen between the sessions.

Many couples arrive with one spouse more excited than the other and that's completely normal.

Our goal isn't to force uncomfortable conversations or put anyone on the spot.

We create an environment that feels safe, encouraging, and practical for both husbands and wives.

No. While there will be opportunities for sharing and discussion, you will never be required to share personal details with other couples. Most of the deeper conversations happen privately between you, your spouse, and during your coaching session.

Your retreat includes five nights of accommodations, transportation to and from the island, all coaching sessions, private coaching with Adam and Cara, retreat materials, scheduled group experiences, and all meals or activities specifically listed in the itinerary.

You will have the option on the order form to add 2 additional vacation days to your stay.

Our coaching is rooted in biblical principles and our personal faith, but couples from all backgrounds are welcome. Our heart is to create a safe, encouraging environment where every couple can experience growth and deeper connection.

You'll fly into Belize, and we'll provide transportation to and from the airport to the resort.  You’ll also get a list of what to pack and everything you'll need to know for a smooth arrival.

Think island casual. Comfortable clothes for coaching sessions, swimwear for beach and pool time, and a few outfits for dinners and special experiences. If you want to go on any hiking excursions, you’ll need appropriate footwear and clothing. We'll send a complete packing guide before the retreat.

Absolutely! You'll have the option to add 2 additional vacation days to your stay on the check out order form.

Any further extensions or other options would have to be made directly through the resort or elsewhere in Belize.

Many couples choose to extend their trip and enjoy additional time in Belize or on the island before or after the retreat. We'd be happy to share recommendations.

You can note any food allergies or preferences prior to arrival to ensure meals are customized to your specifications. (They regularly accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and shellfish-free diets.) 

Payment is based on your choice of accommodations and includes 5 nights for you and your spouse.
